Ellion are revising the firmware for their own badged model, however it is not clear if firmware upgrades for their model can be used with the Hyundai and given there does not appear to be a copy of the original Hyundai firmware distributed with the player it might be an expensive brick making exercise to flash with new Ellion Firmware. It also for some reason seems to obstruct my main fileserver There is no scheduling of recordings possible with current firmware. Can someone tell me the internal hard drive capacity with the Hyundai HDRQ Media Player i was going to buy one on ebuyer but they are out of stock and don’t seem to be getting more in! This box does the job for me, thanks again for this forum’s help.

I chased Hyundai Europe and Korea re the USB devices promoted and a download site for the firmware – and asking if the Ellion HMRA firmware was usable and after Europe initially denying all knowledge of the device, finally got this reply yesterday: As soon as possible I will inform you about this optional accessories.
